I'm looking for a partner for Red Rock for any or all of November 15-17 (and maybe November 14). I've had great luck here finding phenomenal partners for Red Rock and elsewhere, so I'm hoping that pattern keeps up. The main things I look for in a partner are enthusiasm and a positive attitude. I know it's now a cliché, but I've always appreciated the philosophy that the best climber is the one who's having the most fun. I especially enjoy Red Rock's excellent multipitch moderates (trad or sport), but I could also be up for shorter routes. I'm solid, safe, and experienced, and I can contribute ropes and rack. I'll also have a car, in case that's a factor. I'm open to any level of experience, as swapping leads with an experienced partner and helping people get started (and everything in between) are each rewarding in their own way. Please send me a note if you might be interested. Nick

Nick Hey there. Let me know your thoughts on this: I am in Vegas for a conference on Nov. 13 & 14. I can't imagine coming there and not climbing, but I am short on time. My wife has to work on Saturday the 16th, so I only have a ONE DAY WINDOW to climb. I am looking to climb something on Friday the 15th, and then catch a plane out late that night. Looking at Southwest, it looks like the latest flight is 9:10pm, which means getting to the airport around 7:30ish. That should not be too hard given the time change and park closures. So... If you would be interested in connecting for a multi-pitch route, something 5.10-5.11, around 5-10 pitches. I'd be PSYCHED. I am solid. Climbing for over 20 years, have climbed 5.13 in both trad and sport (though not that strong now), quick, competent, and easy to get along with. I can bring gear, but won't have a car, so would need to be picked up and dropped off at the airport. If you are interested, call me ASAP so I know when to buy my return ticket for. 801-856-3886 Scott McLeod 801-856-3886
