Hey guys,
I am headed down to Phoenix the 17th-20th to see Pearl Jam in Glendale, but staying in Phoenix. Planning to spend a day out climbing. Never climbed in Arizona, and need somewhere close to Phoenix, that has some milder grades, 12's and lower. I need the beta!

Pinnacles is a nice area for cragging. Check out their trail for warmup run. the scenery is amazing! The parking lot at Camelback is under construction so you may need to hike a few miles to get to the rock. At the local REI you can find cool fold up route maps for different areas for only $5!

I'm not very impressed with their last album. Eddy used to climb up on stage structures and such. You should sneak in back stage and offer to take him climbing with you :)

If you're visiting a new area and adding "milder grades" aka 12's to your to-do climbing request. I'm thinking you don't require "beta".

Have fun at the concert & hopefully get to try some AZ stone too.

I'll add that you will be happy in Phoenix and the metropolitan area.

What are you looking for? Tons to climb but they are all different in some aspect.

+1
How far are you willing to travel? Sport/trad? Will you have 4x4?
