New Study Shows Climbers are Main Recreational Users of Boulder Canyon

I have long believed that climbing should be a primary management focus in the canyon, including access bridges and a good trail network, resources that could be used by the general public as well.

Other than kayaking, the terrain in Boulder Canyon doesn't really make it a natural place for other standard uses; such as mountain biking or hiking.

Well, I think adding some data to the conversation is invaluable. And imperative for basing the land management on the facts(rather than just feelings)

Of course climbers would think they are the primary users. But I bet tubers would think they are the main users too.

As would chipmunks.

And there are so many problems with this study it's ridiculous!

The car counting methodologies, trying to draw conclusions about "what percentage of Boulder's population are climbers" etc

What a mess...
