Custom size crashpad - Vcrux? Opinions?
|
Been calling around trying to see who can make a custom 4x6' crashpad, but it isn't as easy as I thought it would be. My number one choice was Organic, but he doesn't think he can take on a custom project right now. Voodoo and Misty Mtn are both no go's. The only other one I found was a company in Hueco called Vcrux. I've never heard of them, and neither have any of my friends, so I really don't know what to think. Anybody dealt with them? Quality? |
|
Have you contacted Stonelick? It is a small operation, and they make a really high quality product. I don't know if they'd do a custom...but it'd be worth asking. |
|
Try Asana. I know they are making pads for the back of trucks. |

Check out the Metolius Magnum if you haven't already. Its open dimensions are 4'x6' and 2 people can comfortably sleep on it. |

ditto on the magnum, I have one and its dope. |

Called a whole bunch of places, and with nobody wanting to spring on the one-off custom order, it came down to off-the-shelf magnum vs vcrux. |

Just got my custom Vcrux pad this weekend. I can't say enough awesome things about it. The construction is super burly, the foam ultra firm and the price was just right. I have only used it two days this weekend, but it is obvious that this pad will stay firm and last a long time. If you're in the market for a new pad I would check this things out... just don't steal my awesome color combination. |
