Guided this route in lean winter conditions on Oct 24th, 2013. Planned to knock out the traverse to Blanca but found the snow conditions absolutely atrocious- during my recon down climb I discovered nothing but piles of sugar! Decided it wasn't in condition and so we simply descended via the Hourglass.
