Anyone know if rust degrades nylon? |

And there's no reason for your slings to rust. Unless you got them wet. |

BUT if that rust on your slings came from the trunk of your car where other chemicals may also have been involved, do worry about the damage. Rust from old steel biners and iron oxide on rocks will not do harm though. |

Just make sure it's not from your rusty technique... |
