Anyone know if rust degrades nylon?

Have not had any luck searching MP or BD QC.

No, it does not, rust is an inert substance so there is no way it will react with the nylon. Most it will do is discolor it.

And there's no reason for your slings to rust. Unless you got them wet.

BUT if that rust on your slings came from the trunk of your car where other chemicals may also have been involved, do worry about the damage. Rust from old steel biners and iron oxide on rocks will not do harm though.
