Was Alexander's in WI4/M4 in current conditions? Was the gear dicey?

Anybody been up to Officer's Gulch?

Nothing in Officers Gulch yet. The best looking route right now looks like "Tres Amigos," that actually looks like a fun scrappy climb right now. Three Tiers is probably going to form up super fat and long this season, there is ice up high that hasn't formed in eight or so years.

Lincoln Falls is good to go. If your up there can you please chop out the hoses on the pillars area. Thank you very much.

We got over a foot of snow in Breckenridge and there has been lots of wind transport. I was getting a lot of propagation and reaction on wind loaded slopes up by Blue Lakes today. On a positive note, someone plowed the road all the way to the Blue Lakes dam.

Came down I-70 today. Vail isn't even wet (not that it should be) officers not in, silverplume had some ice probably not worth the hike though.

The storm has ""blown" over and the skies have cleared to unveil lots of avalanche activity up here in the Summit zone. Lots of wind loaded and cross loaded slopes. Here is a photo of a good sized avalanche that started right above the North Star route and ran right over it. The CAIC is up and ruining. Also, help support our underfunded CAIC on
Nov. 9th in Breckenridge for the annual fundraiser.

Thatchtop NW gully is full on WI3 (a bit wet on the right side, but not too bad towards the left).

The right branch of Field's Chimney is in good shape, and the south-east face of Mount Lady Washington is in really good shape with two or three distinct ice lines. This stuff doesn't form up very often, so get after it.

Lincoln is super fat as of yesterday, but in general it's very low quality ice. Dinner plates flying and über sketch gear placements. But it's not even November yet,so this is to be expected.
