Access Fund hiring - 2014 Conservation Team

The Access Fund has started its hiring process for the 2014 Conservation Team. This traveling team of climbing area stewards will lead and inspire stewardship efforts at climbing areas across the United States. In addition to performing trail improvements, the CT will train volunteers on trail construction techniques, lead volunteer events and meet with local land managers to discuss & develop long term stewardship initiatives.

Well that looks like a rocking good job....too bad the only qualification I have is that I dig climbing...a lot.

It was a pleasure to meet Claire and Eddie in the Wichita Mountains in Oklahoma this year and help out with the trail rebuilding. It was even cooler seeing them in Yosemite 2 weeks ago for the Facelift! Glad they got to visit the mecca!
