I usually go for a multiplication sign...

This thread reminds me of a classic scene.

Mark, for boys it's usually called a mammal toe. For most boys at least.

Whale Tail...or is that the term for fat chicks?

Thanks for the info on these. Got a pair last night. Just happened to be at costco and thought i'd check to see if they had them. Should be giving them a test run at RRG this weekend.

I'm actually a big fan of the First Ascent jeans. They are super comfortable with the 3% spandex.

A little update: my uprising jeans are very comfortable and climb well as in they don't restrict any movement.

BUT they aren't lasting very long! There is one small hole in the front thigh area and the spot where 4 seams come together in the back (between the pockets) is already looking shitty.

Overall I am not impressed considering I paid $70 thinking these would last a long time. My $25 skater jeans lasted a lot longer and weren't as baggy either.

Eddie Bauer has Lifetime Guarantee, take them back and make sure to fill out a survey about them.

I took mine up an offwidth-y, 5 pitch desert tower yesterday and with as much thrashing and rubbing as I did, I am surprised to report no signs of wear at all so far.

So far I like them, but I will update as they get more use.

Levis commuter series jeans. I really like the 505/504 cut. They have a good amount of stretch in them and girls love 'em. They also have some sort of water and dirt resistant treatment supposedly.

Maybe it ain't expensive for some of us...

I have to give a shout out to the Kuhl Revolvr pant. A nice balance between burly and lightweight with a great not-too-baggy fit. I have a 36" inseam which makes pants shopping difficult. Kuhl is fantastic in that they make many of their pants in a 36" inseam. They're pretty much the only pants I buy these days.

How are all these jeans working out after a year or so?

1. Bump for that question
2. I just found me some $13.00 Wranglers with, get this, 2% spandex, and I friggin' love 'em. They run real skinny though.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
