Dynamic fall on a static sling should she fall?

Lockers not closed?

All I could see.

The sling is girth-hitched to the belay loop, instead of in the two strong points.

And how strong is that bolt that she's clipped into on the side of the chair?

Cute girl is by herself.

The lockers look like Petzls so we would see red if they are not closed, I don't see red.

Looks like the sling might be girth hitched around her belay loop instead of the harness hard points.

She's not wearing a helmet.

The upper biners are facing up, so gravity could unlock them in the case of a long but very low intensity earthquake.

The belay loop is STRONG. It's fine to hitch it.

Edit to add that the sling doesn't appear to be hitched at all...looks to be simply threaded through the belay loop.

The lockers on the rock are BD and are clearly locked. Not sure about the one on the frame.

no beverage holder, and no redundant beverage holder should you drop the first beverage

For the win! (I wish I'd thought of that)

Microcracks in the belay loop?

Well, it's obvious that sitting in the sun like that, the UV degradation will reduce all of the gear, including the structure of the chair and the carabiners, to bleached crinkly junk within minutes. That's right, bleached crinkly carabiners.

Never climb in the sun.

def a nice looking girl... no issues there... that bolt in the background certainly has a lot of bolt showing!

The lounge chair is leveraging outward pull forces on the bolts.

The only rope in the picture is tied to the chair (instead of said cutie).

She's attached to a bolt on the "chair" leg, which is attached to the rock by magic.

She's wearing a pair of Adidas shoes for climbing?

This is awesome. I'd totally risk it, but I'd lock the beaner.

I agree with Noob. I don't know what the chair is made of but if it breaks at all, she is going for a long ride either with the chair trailing her or with a bolt swinging in the air next to her.

I'd risk it too for the pic. But I'd be clipped in to the rock bolts, not the only part of the chair structure that has been weakened by drilling a hole through it.

Nice post of the second pic Nevius. Why were we even thinking there was a danger here. Now we know she is redundantly anchor to the chair. We should just delete this post for jumping to conclusions! :)

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
