Is it too early to look for ice partners in California?

Looking for Ice climbing partner for California. One be safe, Two don't be a flaker.

I'm just getting going, but I don't flake and want to get on it this winter. Also, a bunch of the east side couloirs are in right now. Have my gear and some screws. Get in touch if you're interested.

This will be my 2nd year in ca for ice season.I would be up for looking for ice and training /dry tooling.
I have ice climbed for close to 10 yrs and climbed NEI and lived I in Durango,co climbing all aaround(love silverton area).
played a lot in hyalite when lived in Bozeman.
I lead up to WI5/m7 when im in ice shape.

alpine ice. fall is the usual season for it, when the snow has melted off and you're (hopefully) left with some solid AI. It's mostly low angle gullies that aren't worth the slog. Probably even more so for someone who has lived in Bozo and SW CO.

i can loan you the east side ice guidebook if you want to get an idea of what there is.
I could be convinced to do a one day blast down to North Peak too, which is a fun romp even if kind of mellow. You gotta get to it before it snows too much because it gets buried and the highway closes. I live in South Lake too, by the Y.

North Peak gully is in, I climbed it this weekend. Yup, low angle, but in a beautiful location.

Low angle ice Al or snow pack? I dying to sink some tools and spin so screws for the fun of it.
Need to look it up
