A little bit more info about our organization: First Ascenders' mission is to foster self-confidence, environmental awareness, and healthy living in urban teens through outdoor rock climbing experiences. We are entirely volunteer-run and 100% of donations go directly to programming. Over the past two years, we have provided programming completely free of charge for over 150 students from the Denver metro area. On Saturday, we hosted First Ascenders' 2nd Annual MoreRock Benefit Concert to raise funds for programming for the 2013-14 school year. With extremely generous support and donations from sponsors, partners, and guests, First Ascenders was able to raise just over $2,000 at this event!

We would like to thank all of the individuals and organizations that made this event possible, particularly the team at Upslope Brewing Company Flatiron Park who donated the event space, numerous silent auction and raffle items, as well as a portion of all beer sold throughout the evening.

If you weren't able to make it to the event and would still like to make a contribution to fund programming for our students, just visit firstascenders.org and click on "Donate" to make a donation through Paypal.

Also, check out the pictures we put up from the event and tag yourselves! facebook.com/FirstAscenders
