Been hoping to climb here, was wondering what the sun/shade exposure is? Reasonable to climb this time of year or too hot/cold? It sounds like a fairly short approach. My friend/partner has a bum leg, so not sure how he will manage on anything long.

If it's a nice day you'll be fine... the approach is flat and maybe a quarter mile at most. The water level should be down enough now that you shouldn't even get your feet wet getting there.

Just don't go with Justin. He's a rain magnet at Button Rock.

Short approach, less than a 1/4 mile.

Was there last week and depending on the routes you want to climb, you may have to get wet or engage in some rock hopping shenanigans.

Bolting and grading is old school, so don't expect the Sport Park.

The wall cooks for the bulk of the day in the sun. I'd go on a cooler day to avoid seriously ht conditions.

way hot right now, unless there is a lot of cloud cover.

I was up there a couple weeks back and all of the routes are in the shade in the morning. Nero Surgeon stays in the shade the longest. We were still able to get a pretty full day in, well until it started pouring rain of course.

Assuming the KOA news report is true, things will be different there. According to the report, Longmont Dam blew.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
