We had to leave four draws on Venezuelan Mafia at the lower wall of Raycreation because of a quick monsoon storm that came in drenched us - 2 draws on the last two bolts and two on the anchors. Considering we were climbing the route with Luis, the FA, it would be great karma to get these back. Please let me know if you get them, and I'll make it up to you. Thanks Tucson folk!!!

Didn't you get them back from EFR?

No... He didn't get them. If anyone is going out there, and you get on that climb, I'll make it worth it if you get them back to me! Promise!

Might head out there Monday, if they're still there I'll get 'em down.

Christian, it would MUCH appreciated! Like I said, I will make it up to you if you get them. Thanks a ton and keep me posted!

Hey Ryan,

I went there today and they're not there, is it still possible EFR has them?

Otherwise some random stick-clip bandit might have gotten to them first, I can't think of anybody I know in Tucson that would be lame enough to just take them and not look for the owner.

Anyway, hope they show up.

come on kids, this is Tucson, someone knows where those draws went. Thanks for any info.

It would be nice to think that no one would actually steal draws whether they were left so someone could project a route, or left because someone had to bail during a monsoon. Unfortunately that is not the case. This is a recurring theme. It's been an AZ forum topic multiple times over the last few years. I had a set taken from a project a few months back.

Some people just don't know when gear is booty and when it isn't-others don't care.

There's a point where it might not be such a good idea to even post these here and just post among your friends on FB or such.

I really hope that someone didn't read about these draws and go to Raycreation just to steal them.

I hope they turn up Ryan.

With the number of people that go to Raycreation, I'm sure it wouldn't take a MP post for left draws to disappear.

You might get word to the Cliffhangers as well; they're a large enough group to get the word around quickly, and they're not typically in contact with the usual suspects.
Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
