I'm looking to do some climbing in ontario this month and lions head looked pretty cool but I'm having trouble finding good information on this place. Can anyone help me out?

Here's a link:

Or you could try to find a copy of Oates & Bracken, "A Sport Climber's Guide to Ontario Limestone" (1997).

I climbed in Lions Head in 2010 with someone who had a guidebook.

That person has moved and is not able to find his copy of the guidebook and I can not remember exactly what routes we climbed or where exactly... although if need be I could use the photos I took to stitch together which walls we climbed.

I am set to go climb there in two weeks.
Does anyone have a guidebook they wish to sell, or would be willing to copy parts of?

Actually, any help at all would be greatly appreciated.

I am headed to Lion's Head in October (and hopefully some other areas). Here in the Bow Valley there's plenty of guidebooks so I'm a little lost about how to access the climbs of the bruce and it would be good to find an area that's not too simple or too difficult. Blake, if you have any beta from your trip it would be greatly appreciated! That guidebook by Oates and Bracken seems to be rarer than gold...

Any suggestions are awesome! Thanks!

Maybe go to Ontario Climbing dot com and ask about someone who could show you around or email you directions.

For extra goodwill, donate a couple bucks to their hardware fund or to their buy-Mt-Baldy initiative.

Don't ask about the guidebook there. (There's a new one long in the works, but not coming out anytime soon.)

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
