Taking a 3-day crack-climbing clinic at the Creek Oct 5-7th and hoping to find local partners to climb with afterwards for a few weeks (flexible). Was hoping to stay at the Creek, but would also consider hitting up Red Rocks. I'll have a car.

Obviously I'll be new to crack, but hope to get the hang of it pretty quickly.

Have doubles .5 to 3,and plan on borrowing more for the trip.

Consider myself pretty experienced having climbed in the Gunks, RRG, Red Rocks, Squamish, Tuolumne, etc. Not super strong, but getting stronger. Cut my teeth on the old school grading in the East, where I live (where a 5.9 feels like a 5.11 sport route). Grading is different everywhere, but I've on-sited 5.11 sport and 5.10 trad.

Hit me up if you're interested.

I think I'm registered at the same crack clinic with you. My schedule is in flux and I might not make it, but if I do, I'm interested in doing Castleton North Chimney afterwards. PM me and let me know what your plan is going to be. Hope to see you there

FWIW, it's a myth...

Hey all, great to see interested parties. Thanks for taking the time to write. I'll definitely be in touch.

My trip has grown, and below is my schedule:

1. Sept 13 - 21: Yosemite - Climbing with a partner. No partner needed.

2. Sept 22 - Oct 4: Looking for partner for Yosemite, Red Rocks, or Indian Creek… whatever works

3. Oct 5 - 7: Indian Creek Splitter Clinic

4. Oct 8 - 15(?): Looking for partner for Yosemite, Red Rocks, or Indian Creek… whatever works

Might be interested in a creek trip, I'd get in 9/26 afternoon and have to leave noon'ish the 29th.

Crack newbie also but I've climbed there a few times. Happy on 5.10. Have doubles of everything triples of hand sizes

Hi All,

Just an update on this.

I'm still looking for partners in Indian Creek Oct 8th to 15th.

Please email me at: dray2009@gmail.com or text me at 416-710-5174

Or find me in the Creek. I'll be the guy with the van illustrated in Easter Island statues. Seriously ;)

I've enough cams to get up most things (6 or 7 each of BD.75 to 2, etc.) though this'll be my first trip there (I'm doing a Crack Clinic there Oct 5-7).

I'll probably be down there this weekend by myself, and maybe the following weekend as well. I'll keep an eye out for the Easter Island Van. Any idea where you will be camping?

I'm at Creek Pasture (beat-up white Astro, OR plates), have lots of cams. Weather looks good until Thursday.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
