In the process of recovering from ACL reconstruction and am trying to scope out alpine climbs with moderate approaches. Looking for shorter distances with less loose, bouldery, choss-hoping. Climbs can be rock, snow or ice. Thanks in advance.

Aprons of Mt Evans? Short but there's always going to be some choss-hoping... Good luck with the recovery!

Hallets, Zowie, Cathedral Wall, or is that still too long?

Good luck with your recovery. Are you looking for local objectives? There are a couple things in the Sierra that come to mind...

Also, what about Evans? I have not, but hear the approaches are light. As for the Sky Pond, I recommended those (Cathedral, and Zowie) because you are on a nice trail most of the way, and they are closer (a bit) than up the hill at Sky Pond. I'll try to think of some more for ya... Good luck man! C
