I have been getting out a few days a week, but it seems the untapped resource of the day is the early morning. Such as, being at the route at 6 or so. I'm not stranger to alpine starts, and I'd like to get in a few pitches before work, which on most days is around 1015am. I have a Serenity 8.9 70m, various runners, and a just got a set of nuts and hexes, which I am becoming familiar with. I cannot lead, but I am a competent belayer looking to get more rock under my feet. Sport or trad, either is great. Comfortable at 5.7, sent a few 5.8's with some grit.

I've read a fair amount of posts looking for partners for "alpine climbs".
I'd like to do the Kelso Ridge before the end of the month, maybe the N. Ridge of Mt. Neva to practice some simul-climbing, and also a long hike along the Divide from Berthoud Pass to Rollins Pass/4th of July Trailhead.

Good luck, and get outside!

Colorado climbers are spoiled and lazy, why get up early when you can get to the crag in 20min? ;-)

I'm more than happy with that fact, though, as I'm an early riser too. Although I must admit, I have been known to roll into the crag at the crack of noon myself.

The last time I lived in Boulder(1983)I would very frequently go to Eldo or Boulder Canyon for a route before work.
