Grampians or Arapiles-end of August

I'll be traveling through Melbourne and have a few days free there. Would love to get to the Grampians or Arapiles!

Sport climber, leading in the 5.10s. Gladly will follow 5.11 or even trad if that's what you're keen on. At home in the states I climb at Rumney or down at Red River Gorge.

Won't have a car, only some gear.
Looking to go August 28/29-31 (leaving Melbourne very early on September 1).

Try posting on the local site; Chockstone.org

At Araps it's easy enough to find partners while the Gramps can be a little bit trickier.

Just FYI there is essentially no sport at Araps (maybe 2% of routes are bolted, and thats only the ones that are wicked hard)

Arapiles without a doubt. It's easy to get to without a car and you will find plenty of partners. The chockstone site is a good choice and you might be able to find partners and a ride.

Excellent--thank you all! Definitely going to check out that site

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
