I'm looking for a partner for a trip to the Cirque of the Unclimables. Leaving Seattle Aug. 18th. We plan to fly into the Cirque on the 21st of Aug and Fly out on the 31st. This should give us ten days to climb the Lotus Flower Tower, The White Tower, and much more alpine epicness. On our drive back we hope to climb in the Bugaboos or Valhallas, weather permitting. My partner bailed, so we have a party of three going right now. I would love to find someone else that can send! If you're interested, send me a PM. I can lead most 11- in an alpine environment, I hope to find someone of equal skill.

If only I didn't have to go to school...

School? Just think of all the lessons you'll learn in the Cirque!

My dream trip is to climb in the cirque and raft out down the Nahanni. Unfortunately I've already got a trip planned for end of August.

Are you looking for a partner for the Bugs? Any chance you are swinging through Vancouver on the way back?

We would be going straight to the Bugs from Whitehorse after the cirque, not stopping in Vancouver as it is a bit out of the way.

If you are in the Valhalla over a weekend, I could probably meet you and do Gimli. Maybe something in the adamant range over labour day? Not 100% sure about the work schedule.

I've wanted to get up there for a long time now. Can you give me an idea of what kind of money I would need to rustle up?

The flight was 3300 or so. My credit card charged me 100 bucks for "international fee" which I think is a 3% Conversion rate. We rented a car for 3 weeks which was 1200. I think with gas and food it came to about 1800 per person... but we climbed in the Bugaboo's, Valhallas, and Sir Donald on the way back. I would want more time in the Cirque next time, 7 of our 10 days were spent waiting out weather. Totally worth it though! The most sustained climbing I have ever seen!

Do you have a TR or pics posted anywhere?

We are looking to go to the Cirque July 28th through the 1st week of August;  my climbing partner from Germany and myself from Colorado will be meeting in WhiteHorse and  then go to Cirque of the Unclimables.
We want to go the dirt-bag route but its still expensive if you don't have at least 4 people. If your interested in sharing a puddle jumper flight to There is a charter that goes to Finlayson Lake and then from Finlayson Lake to Glacier Lake.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
