I rapped in, got anchors on this, 70% cleaned and self belay TRed it clean this Sunday and Monday. It is super cool. I think I will need a couple bolts, but am rounding up big gear to keep it as pure as I can. It was quite the adventure rap getting down to it, over a couple walls including a 15 foot roof and downfall trees. My 250' rope just got me to the ground single strand. I nailed finding the top first go though, which was sweet.
Jim, the approach is down to 1.4 miles, a little over an1 hour now.
A better look at the offwidth/chimney Mark mentions in one of his photos. This thing looks really cool and won't need much cleaning (?!). Kinda of reminds me of a bigger, scarier version of London Bridges in Acadia. The arete to the left looks amazing and there is likely a face climb on the face facing the camera.
