Louisiana

I'd like to suggest a Louisiana Region or Louisiana partners forum. We don't have any rock, but there are a few climbers here, and it'd be nice to have a place to look for partners or make travel plans. Thanks! |

I'm currently living in Houma, LA, and, although I work a 62 hr work week, I do get out when I can. Me and my gal hit up the Rok Haus in Lafayette from time to time, and travel elsewhere for real rock. I've climbed throughout the West and Alaska, and have a full trad/sport rack and ropes. Will be moving to Colorado next spring (thankfully, because, no offense, I can't take it here much longer), but am willing to partner up between meow and then. Drop me a line sometime (985) 772-9383. |

By the way, Louisiana in and of its self is probably too small to be worth having its own section. If your looking for gym partners primarily, try posting locally at the gym. For real rock, search in the Texas, Arkansas, and Alabama locations if your looking to get at the closest available rock (depending on where in Louisiana your located). Just my thoughts. |

I'll add you to my list, Jacob. The reason I want a Louisiana list is basically for carpool. |

Right on man good deal! Hit me up sometime and good luck find more climbers down here! Sometimes it's few and far between! |

Doesn't the New Madrid fault line run though there? Who knows, you could have excellent cliffs any day. |

I'm new to Louisiana and would like to get a climbing partner. |
