Lost 3 wire-gate biners, 1 small screw-gate, and 1 sling on The Devil. Had to bail on account of sudden thunder storms. Please give me a call if you have this stuff. 303.818.9238.

You id'd the location of your gear. Therefore it's not "lost". Go and get it.

Isn't the definition of a 'bail biner' as a piece of gear that is given up for good? Not part of the 'left behind' or 'lost' gear,,it's a freebee for anyone who goes to fetch it. Rule #42 I believe.

I am really curious why you left this combination of gear behind.

My best guess is that they were top roping and it started raining and no one could finish it while it was wet? Maybe. Good luck getting your gear back, Mr. Time. (Great route BTW). Yer still gonna die, sir.

It didn't rain all that hard and there was very little thunder. Sun popped out a little while later. Did you consider waiting it out?

I led, built an anchor for buddy to TR, went back for the RP, then it rained. BTW, some of you are annoying.

farkas have you read any of the other bail/lost gear threads on here? Surely you can't be surprised by the responses? So far they've been relatively tame.

Either go back and get it or forget it. It's no longer yours.

If anyone takes this gear you are a thief. No way the party could have known thunder storms and rain were coming...

"Thank you all for your valuable input."... Speaking of input. Do you happen to have or know where can get the number to Rock and Resole?
