Looking for a Grappling Hook

Hey fellow climbers. I have zero Aid or big wall experience but was hoping someone might have an old grappling hook lying around that they'd be willing to trade for some biners, climbing holds, 5-step aiders...

I am looking to use the hook to help hold crash pads in obscure positions while bouldering and would rather trade then buy one. Let me know, thanks!

How about some webbing and some parachute clips rather then something that will impale your fellow climbers?

Ya there's not a chance in hell I would boulder with someone knowing that fu*ker was lurking under a pad or that when the pad slips my head has something to 'latch' onto... just a bad idea all around. Get some thin webbing and plastic buckles.. or save the loot and buy some grip tape, or velcrow tape that you can temporarily add.

...probably why it's 77% off. No self-respecting climber would ever want/need this. But it's perfect for night stalking and halloween ninja costumes.

yeah but with that huge 33" rope you could use it to get to the top of any of the valley walls.

Ha ha, I was thinking more along the lines of the image below for a grappling hook. On a trip to Hueco last year, a saw a bunch of people utilizing these to holds pads on steep boulders behind the climber.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
