Does anyone know of a flat synthetic slipper that is still made? I am essentially looking for a synthetic/non leather moccasym.

Any ideas?

Thanks for your help =)

Never mind, I guess the Stonelands slipper is still leather. Weird, doesn't really feel like it.

Steph Davis is currently working with Evolv on a synthetic slipper similar to the Moccasym:

The older grey evolv rave and the five ten anasazi slipper were a couple of shoes I used to love. Really comfortable.

Hard to find a good all around synthetic slipper anymore, I've bought a bunch of them. I've never climbed in Red Chili but saw those Nachos in person just yesterday, the construction looks good. Looking forward to the evolv offering.

I think there might be a photo of the prototype on her latest blog post. I posted a comment there for confirmation:

Confirmed by Steph! Will be called Addicts and due to come out in the fall apparently.

Any reason for synthetic besides a "vegan" option?

Potential advantages - less stretch, won't get stiff after repeated wettings, more abrasion resistant

Possible downsides - stink, less breathable, less "mold to fit"

Valid points actually. Never had the chance to try out a moc (scared I'm going to get the wrong size post stretch and be fucked)

Yeah the new evolv slipper is called "addict" they have an add in this month's rock and ice

I know this is an old post, but synthetic moccasyms are coming soon and I'm pretty psyched about them: splitterchoss.com/2017/01/2…
