Hey guys, I need your opinions on what the best Front range crack is out there. Anything out there, from 30 ft to long multpitch routes, of any difficulty. what is the best?

I'd say Country Club, but I have no knowledge of Maelstrom.

The jam's are a great route but I never mention route's on the Peak so people don't go up there and trash the place. Remember The Fifty Crowded Climbs Of North America. No really the peak is a great place I just remember the old day's of never seeing any body up there.

Maybe not technically in the Front Range, but anything at Turkey should get a nod.

Agreed that Quill is fun. However, the best ft rng crack? Don't know about that. The offwidth at top detracts, imo. But see Hubbel, 1988, p3: Wunsch's: "Best crack climbing in the front range" Center Rt: "Best 5.9 crack anywhere" Bishop: "Best finger crack in the front range." Acid Crack "Best 5.5" He lists about 30 stellar S. Platte routes. Maelstrom is not on this list, but included in the guide: Pro to 6", extra 5-6".

I live in 5 points, the best used to be at the corner of 26th and California outside of deep rock but since the neigborhood has cleaned up you need to head down to the homeless shelters on Park Ave West, just look for the nearest gang member. ......You beat me to it Locker.
