I am very surprised to learn that people actually enjoy climbing. I always thought it was the most annoying part of setting up any rappel route.

Excuse me while I add my onsight rappel of Bachar-Yerian to my tick list.

Climbing? Who would ever want to do that. There's all this rope and stuff and ATCs. What happens if you fall?

Yeah, sometimes I read someone's profile that says they "lead 3rd Class." I can easily lead First Class, whatever that means. Everybody knows first is better than third.

I will be glad when I can say "I am a Grade V climber....."

I climb out of bed most mornings, that counts right.

(Importantly, my bed is in a house, not on a cliff. Rocks scare me)

I proudly wear my non-CE rated caribiner key keeper attached to my belt loop in all my travels. Surely this is a tell tale sign to all that I may have , at one point in my life, picked up a climbing magazine to peruse through it's pages.
