Looking for a Kick Ass Rain Jacket
|
Hey all. I have a decent rain jacket right now, but the thing gets soaked through if I'm out for more than like 30 minutes even in a light rain. I'm wondering if any of you have any suggestions on something I should look at. Thanks. |

Marmot Nano. Weighs 9oz and packs down to a softball. And its goretex. Worth the price. |

TRASH BAGS!!! Never owned a piece of clothing I didn't thrash.. Maybe you are like me. Don't rip another overpriced packable rain jacket! |

Sounds like you just need to reapply the DWR |

For a straight rain shell I like the marmot precip because it is cheap and functional so you can replace it when it gets thrashed. It's pretty tough though. |

Its as durable as a light weight jacket about gets. Mine has snagged hiking a few times with no signs of wear. And it is warrentied by marmot. |

I've gt an arc teryx theta AR black large in near perfect condition. Bomber piece of gear. I just have two other jackets that are beaten up and would not be worth anything to anyone but me. Let me know I you are interested. I was going to list it but haven't gotten around to it. I can send pictures if you are interested. |
