TC Pro to Miura VS sizing?

In a TC Pro I am a 41 performance and 41.5 all day fit. What size Miura VS should I get for a performance fit? I tried on some 42 mvs's, my feet fill them out well and they are a bit to tight to be cofortable, but i can move my toes a bit. I am wondering how much they will stretch? Should I go 41.5?

I recently got both. 44 performance fit in the miura and 45 in the tc pro. Not sure if that is the same for everyone or not. For the record, I am 46 in the Ganda and 47.5 in the Nepal. I love La Sportiva, but the sizing baffles me a bit.

I have worn a 41 in the tc pros for a few years and have a pair of muira vs. I am of the opinion that comfort and performance need not be exclusive. my comfortable TC pros do everything from bouldering to finger cracks to big wall free climbs. I went with the 41.5 muira, and the size and last is nearly identical to the 41 in TC pro.

I suspect that a 41.5 will feel tight and be the type of shoe you take off after every pitch (if that's what you're into). They stretch just enough to fit your foot, but not really changing size. if you sweat a ton or have them really tight they may stretch more.

TC Pro's are 39, VS are 38.5 and 39. Can size down ~half a size IMO for VS.

I don't have experience with TC's but in my experience the VS stretched pretty good (between a half and a full size). I am a size 41.5 or 42 in my other climbing shoes and mountaineering boots and I took a 40.5 in the VS. Granted, as said before, I sweat like a bastard and they were painfully tight on me to start but they have stretched out to a fairly comfy but still super aggressive shoe.

Now I just need to get them resoled...

I think muira vs stretch a half-size or slightly less. My first pair were initially impossible to wear for longer than one sport route up and down. Now it's much less distracting.

I agree in general about the half-size tighter for mvs vs. tc pros. That's because a) steep sport vs crack climbing are my uses, and b) the tc pros have a toe box which i find incredibly painful on my particular lil piggies, until the shoes break in. The rest of the shoe fits perfectly, and anyway I'm already maxing out the availability at 46. So no choice.

I have mvs in 45.5 and 46.

I wear a 46 in Muiras (insert big foot joke here) and really wanted a pair of TC Pros for my all day shoes but I couldn't even get my foot into a pair of 46s as the heel cuts in so much - the whole sling shot rand thing doesn't seem right on the Pros - too "sharp". Bummer.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
