Bouldering locations near Creede

I'm spending sometime camping near Creede (between Lake City and Creede) in a few weeks and was wondering if anybody had some info on any decent bouldering around the area. I dont want to drive past lake city or Creede. Not looking for anything too crazy, just seeing if anybody could point me in the direction of some decent boulder fields.

There's quite a bit down by South fork, just west Big Meadow.. but "there's no climbing here"

I have some friends that have done a substantial amount of "exploration" of the bouldering scene in and around that area. I'm sure they'd be willing to spay you down with beta, your best bet would be to contact Morgan here:
