Sizing Aggressive shoes

Hello All

for those of you that have Solutions, Teams, or otherwise aggressive shoes, how do you size them? As in, how tight do you size them?

I'm debating on getting a pair of solutions that I can barely fit my feet into, versus getting a pair that is half a size down from what I already have

My solutions I can barely get on when new but they *don't* hurt my feet.

Downturned shoes are a lot about filling the volume of the shoes, so figure out whether the heel cup or toe box is loose. The power mostly come from the heel rand & the tension over your forefoot to resist bending backwards, not from stiffness of the sole.

Start with a size close to the length of your current climbing shoe, but measure by flattening the downturn. They don't necessarily have to feel really tight when you are not standing on them. This is the mistake a lot of people make: they are not suppose to be remotely comfortable walking on, especially new out of the box.

Thanks for the input
