So where are you Climbing at, this Memorial Day weekend?
|
Potrero Chico, of course. |
|
Rusty still getting after it! |
|
There was barely any water left near the dome already. Just enough to get by for this weekend, luckily. Lets see some more pics / trip reports... |
|
Matt... nice pics, need more. |
|
Mt. Charleston, Universal Wall. Perfect conditions |

Looking to do some hiking in a week.Weather was pretty good, wind kicked up early Sun morning to disrupt a nice calm night, though. Creek was down to this small pool (dry soon, I'm sure, unless you know of a secret spring): |

Victory shot
First time at the Leap I've been avoiding this place because of the crowds, but there were still empty sites Saturday morning, and never had to wait in line once. I would avoid this place though, there's sure to be crowds next week. Main wall |

Elephant Rock
Was I tripping or does anyone else see an elephant? Elephant Rock, City of Rocks, Idaho. |

Your tripping - hard. |

Guy, I'm guessing its part of Tibbets creek? (was my first trip out, so not too sure on names/locations) SE only 5mins from the dome. We were planning on hiking hours to find water, but just as we started following the drainage, my partner saw that pool. Only water around we saw. Blink and we would have missed it. |
