Anything going on in the White or Green mountains, I assume someone is out there exploring.

Smuggler's Notch, VT comes to mind as a popular bouldering zone in a subalpine setting. Unlike most alpine areas, it is super roadside too.

Pretty sure there has been a thread on this. Huntington's has a lot, for instance.

Thanks Brendan, that's exactly what I was looking for!

From this video it looks like Carter Notch has some pretty good alpine bouldering. Granted the climbing featured is not that hard but there is a lot of great looking rock in the background.

Mahoosic Notch too... Tux is limited... King I've heard really great things about. Shagg while not in the whites has some stellar bouldering but is not in a "alpine zone". Bigelow has some boulders along the Eastern ridge.

The Bigelow preserve has some very tempting remote boulders. As a matter of fact, there are boulders all along the valley below Sugarloaf and Bigelow mountains if you want to make the drive to Maine.

In the adk rock book, McKensie pond boulders as well as Poko and a few other places are pretty good. Easy to hard. Some huge stuff as well as small. Poko is fun to just walk around and find big boulders to climb...

There is a massive erratic on the ridge between Rocky Peak Ridge and Blueberry Cobbles in the Adirondacks with some problems on it.

There's also the Glen Boulder and the boulder in the parking lot. I forgot about this sweet spot, it's been many years!

Ya one of the cooler boulders I've had the pleasure to climb at. . . just stunning being perched up on the presi ridge. When ur climbing on the thing it totally feels like it's gonna roll right down the hill.

And the hike is a bit of a bear but entirely worth it and not THAT bad.

Lions head over in Evans also has some amazing bouldering as well but def a hike.
