I'm looking for a guide to teach me some trad climbing basics and multi-pitch techniques. I already have experience in both, it's just the extent of my knowledge is from Freedom of the Hills and the internet. Basically I don't want to be stuck with a bunch of beginner top-ropers just wasting money. If you know of any reputable guides or anything about the guiding services Chockstone Climbing offers please let me know.
Guides generally teach you how to be the best guided client, you may have better luck in the partners section here.
Pete is a great guy and TMG is a solid guide service but they are out to guide, not teach you trad.

That's not true at all. Guides are generally psyched to teach you whatever you'd like to know, as fast as you'd like to learn it. Higher level clients are more fun. You were right about Pete being a a great guy and TMG a solid service (30 years this year).
Josh, What are you doing this weekend? I also work for Pete and am currently available fri/sat/sun. Let me know (or just call the office 541-312-9242) if you're interested. Cheers, -Max
