Hey Everyone,

I'm in MA now and was wondering what the conditions in North Conway are like right now, specifically Whitehorse or Cathedral. Any feedback would be great, thanks so much.

Stuff is rapidly drying out. A lot of the South Buttress should be dry, as are most of the cracks at the North End. If you're looking for guaranteed dry rock, the vast majority of Humphrey's is dry.

The cliffs are a mix of dry, damp, and waterfalls now. Any routes in particular you are wondering about?

Thank you for the quick feedback, I was looking to do either something on the slabs or the Inferno/Atlantis area for Whitehorse and really anything on Cathedral.

I went up to North Conway this past weekend and climbed Sliding Board on Sunday, it was great!

I also did Sliding Board, bone dry, with the odd and unimportant seeping spots.

Cathedral was also pretty good, did the Saigons which were mostly dry, just a few wet but good holds.

Any recent condition updates from North Conway?

Was wondering how things are looking on the South Butt and Wonderwall.

North End?

Thin Air Face?

Im heading up next weekend and am thinking about what to get on up there.

Pretty much all good. Get it before the bugs get you.

Anyone know what the bugs are like? When do you think the black flies will be starting to come out?

Flies are 'in' up at N. Conway.

They were biting at Rumney on May 4.

I'm looking for partners over the next couple days to do some easy classics. Slabs are of particular interest. I've got a rope and rack, just need a catch. PM me.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
