Climbing somewhat of an obscure route in Red Rock; I retrieved a BD 4.5 cam which had obviously been stuck for a few years. The trigger wires were busted, so i rewired them. The sling was badly faded so I reslung it. But there is a lot of rust on the axles; anyone have thoughts on best to clean the rust.

And please keep the "yer gonna die" comments to a minimum. I know I am going to die; but its not going to be because an old rusty booty cam.

Lemmon Juice takes off light rust with a little scrubbing due to its acidity.

Just squirt the fucking thing with a little WD 40 and go climbing.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
