BeanFest Spring 2013

Shiloh, My wife pointed out to me a mistake in my previous post. What I meant was because it has been held on the west for the last 3 fests it would be nice to see it on the east for a change. Sorry if I implied that it was up to me to decide. That wasn't my intent.

Really looking forward to this beanfest. :-)

"Just say you'd prefer the east side and stop spraying nonsense that might get Beanfest shut down."

Geez, Alex! You seem really worked up. Yes, Mike could have worded things differently in his post, such as in his humble opinion the Beanfest should be on the east side, but does that really grant you a free pass to be so rude? A nicer approach is always more effective:) And as far as the "rogue" camping, if I'm not mistaken, I thought Mike offered to go around to camp sites and encourage campers to cleanup, use designated camping areas, etc.

Michael - No offense would ever be taken from me
I m just happy that A. Someone replied to my post :)
B. Its Freakin BeanFest time again! No hard feelings should
be brought on by anyone. Let that shit slide - We are going
to take some preventative measures in view of the
opportunities presented with the habitat and I see NO reason
that this will be an issue. I will be contacting the rangers to see if we can
reserve some spaces up the way so that any "overflow" will have a place to crash
as well - if the need arises. I can caravan groups up if necessary but
I think with some initial guidelines - The problem is null.
I m so blessed to know so many cool people in Tucson and the Sierra Vista area
and look forward to sharing one of the highlights of my year with all of you.
The needless arguing is pointless - Lets concentrate on making this
one of the best events yet. Cool? The rest of the details are well within my
control
Cheers
- SHILOH

I wanted to take a moment to thank Everyone that attended Spring Bean 2013.
I was my honor to serve the lot of you, and it was nice to be able to get out in such
an awesome area and climb with all of you!

I hope that you will visit the Facebook Page - We will be selling the T Shirts online
from the event in the next couple days!

We would also like to thank Barrio Brewing in Tucson for their generous
donation of a Keg for the event. Zona was so good to us, and, although he wasn't
able to attend, facilitated a last minute donation after the scheduled keg fell through!

I hope everyone had a good time, and I look forward to seeing you all again in the Fall.
