The "5.9" crack (we thought more like 5.7).
Jack at the last piece of gear in the dihedral crack, about to traverse over to the cracks on the right side of the face. The belay is at the base of the 5.9 finger crack.

This is one of the easier ways to start P1. Climb up to the tree growing out of the crack to begin. If you go climber's left of this image so the tree is to your right when standing at the base, you may encounter the first of the slab run-outs that I mentioned in my comment. It's easily viewed from the ground as the obvious weakness fizzles (not seen in this photo).
Fatty runouts if you avoid the upper crack.
