Steve "Crusher" Bartlett spins yarns and presents images from a century of climbers who have scaled the colorful stone towers of the Colorado Plateau. Steve himself has scaled 150 Towers with 30 first ascents and will include highlights from his own adventures and from his award-winning book "Desert Towers". But this presentation is not just about climbing; Steve will convey the magic and beauty of this amazing area, weaving in non-climbing stories as well as dramatic scenic images from the wilder parts of this region. This presentation is sponsored by the American Alpine Club.
