Why do you feel the need to knock another company instead of just saying what a great job Metolious did?

I once lost a single ski glove and the pair cost me close to $150. Black Diamond gave me the matching glove for FREE out of their warranty/returns department. I once sent a cam back to Metolious to be reslung and they destroyed it and said it was to old to use anymore.

Well obviously.... Care to point anything else blatantly obvious?

I have had great customer service with Black Diamond. Metolius on the other hand has SUCKED in the past like I mentioned. They didn't even tell me my cam was to old to be reslung they just destroyed it, pretty weak company.

Metolius just sent me a new 00 master cam because one of the springs unwound. Granted I only used one time at an anchor. I have also received good service from BD, but for the most part I don't like most items BD makes, except for C4s I can't think of another item I would buy from them.

The Schmidthead rears its ugly head once again. Do I have to post the picture again?

Also BD and Metolius are both okay in my book. So far.

Not me, I feel there is clearly enough evidence here to never buy BD or Metolious ever again.

I, too, have had great service from Metolius...

- Several years ago I sent in my 10 cams for re-slinging, they came back looking like new!

- Just a few weeks ago I had an issue with a brand new Waldo harness. They sent me a new one right away with a pre-paid return shipping label so I could send back the first one.

I like turtles.

Never had problem with either company. Marmot, however was freakin' awesome to deal with. Suunto were big time A%$holes.
