Description
The Fraser Valley is the large area spanning from Abotsford to Hope B.C. The climbing in the area is mostly single pitch trad routes and bolted sport routes. There are also several major and popular mountains in this area (i.e. Mt. Slesse, Rexford, and the Cheam Range). The Rock can vary from solid granite to limestone and, unfortunately, some very loose and flaky volcanic rock (mostly in the Cheam Range).
FVCS
The Fraser Valley Climbing Society is a new organization to help protect and assist in managing rock climbing areas in the Fraser Valley.
If possible, please donate or become a member to contribute to route development/maintenance and climbing access in the area.
A PDF guidebook for the valley is available on their website: fvclimbingsociety.com/
