I recently noticed the increase climbers of different social, economic and ethnic backgrounds. To say the least it is very refreshing!...Seeing an indian family of 3 discussing a route at the gym, both parents in their 40's , a kid is about 8...all having,a good time! I heard in Europe, especially France climbing is much more of a social and family activity than here in the US. It seems we are headed in that direction whjch is great!
