I was going to climb with some people who are pretty new to climbing today. Is there anywhere up BCC that has easier sport routes and would be climbable this time of year? I was thinking the slips, dogwood, Challenge, S-curve (not sure if there are easy enough routes). Any help would be appreciated.

Those first three work well. Some other spots on the database here on mtnproj. McKinley comes to mind. Res. Ridge.

Ambush Wall is nicely bolted and way soft for the grades. Don't know about snow, though.

Thanks for the replies. Mostly worried about the snow situation. I have been to all of the areas. I have heard S-curve is good to go, but not sure on the others. I figure dogwood is probably ok because it is lower.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
