Rest in peace Kevin- Thinking of you and your family. |

His blog is great. Take the time to read a few entries. Very inspirational and puts a lot of things in my life in perspective. It may do the same for you. Sounds like a great guy. It's unfortunate that we have to lose anyone that young. |
|
I followed his blog a bit, some real wisdom within. I didn't expect things to happen so quickly, but transplants put people in a vulnerable state. Rest in peace Kevin, this should be front page news. Doesn't the ultimate truth guide all of our actions? Should we not pay attention? |

It's always crazy to me how affected I feel when someone from the climbing community suffers. I've never met nor even heard of Kevin, but good, good vibes to his family and friends. |
|
Kevin was a damn fine climber and a good person. We climbed Birds of Fire just prior to his diagnosis and I was impressed with his ability, thoughtfulness, and maturity. Kevin walked the crux pitch that day, and we laughed our way up the rest of the route. That day stands out for me as one of the best I've had in the mountains, a memory I'll always carry with me. We had more adventures planned when he got sick shortly thereafter. |

Kevin was an inspiration to me. |

Wow. Damn... we all lost something really special today, Kevin. You will be sincerely missed, and truly remembered. Its clear that I'm not the only person you made an impression on - thanks for being such a kind and positive guy. It really was an inspiration to be a better person. Its rad that you were such a good climber, but I'm just thankful you climbed because it meant you "spoke our language" and were part of our community - I never would have had the pleasure of meeting you otherwise. I hope your family finds this thread and gets to see what a great influence you were on lots of lives. Rest in Peace. |

Terrible news, this hits close to home. I never met Kevin, but he is only 1 year younger than me and lived in Fort Collins too. |
|
Memorial for Kevin is planned for Friday April 5th, 2013 at 10am, and will be held at the Lincoln Center, Rooftop Deck, 417 W. Magnolia Street in Fort Collins. Friends are welcome. |

Really, really sad news. I had never heard of Kevin until his enormocast interview, but since then I've read his blog ( kevinlandolt.blogspot.com/) and seen his posts around here. He wrote some deep stuff and it really helped me gain some much needed perspective on this whole climbing game. |

Tragic, my condolances to all of Kevin's family & friends. Hearing about this brings back a flood of good & bad memories for me, I lost my best friend to cancer when we were 23 years old. |
