I am relatively new to big wall. I did my first wall last season and it happened that I lead Kor's roof on washington column. It was an overhanging roof and I didn't need more than my standard set of aiders.

Could you explain why another set is needed? I have not heard of people using two sets or any extra aiders during overhangs or other maneuvers.

I am 6'5" so maybe I do things differently.

Stick with just 2 aiders. Unless your hair is grey. Then you should know what you want

Yea stick to two. Don't over complicate it. Better yet, get a pair of ladder style aiders. I've used the old etrier style, and after using a friends ladders, I switched for good. Much easier to work with.
