The Bride Tower, Moab area

In December some friends and I spent a week in the Moab area, and at one point we were in the Gemini Bridges area and we camped in a small canyon right next to Gooney Bird. There is a thin tower in the back of that canyon, and from what info I have been able to find, it's The Bride. I know there is a route to the summit from the saddle of this tower on the eastern side, but I was wondering if anyone knew anything about the western arete/nw face of this tower? It seems to me there could be a possibility from the ground to summit on that arete, and it looks like one hell of a proud tower line.

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Shotgun Wedding ?

Sam Lightner dragged me up it once.... my pecks were sore for weeks from the chimney!

Well, this is the side of the tower I'm referring to, but not quite the line. If you look at the topo photo for Shotgun Wedding, this line would potentially work up the right hand side of the face. It looks like there might be some features, and possibly some sections of thin crack climbing. Could be too soft to protect, but I've never been up there.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
