Ice Climbing / Mountaineering Glove recommendation?

I currently have the Mountain Hardwear minus one gloves and BD guide gloves.

I am looking for something in between these. The MH minus one gloves are great for warm days but have no insulation.

The BD Guide gloves are warm but have no dexterity.

So, what type of gloves have you used from MH or BD that fit the bill in between where a little warmth and dexterity meet?

These gloves will be used when following an ice pitch or general mountaineering where an ice axe is in hand.

I use a Gore Windstopper fleece liner in my Guide gloves for more dexterity in moderate conditions. I actually have a variety of liner gloves to go in the Guide for various conditions, but I switch to a lobster mitt for bad conditions. The OR Highcamp Mitt is what I use, and it definitely has better dexterity than the Guide, despite the Guide being a full-blown glove.

I had the same issue with the BD Guide and I've switched to the BD Prodigy for ice-climbing. Not quite as warm but more dexterity. But it's still a fairly bulky glove (my hands get cold easily). Most people seem to be fine with something thinner.

I've used three models of BD gloves for ice climbing.
Punisher Pros-Pretty decent overall. Warm enough, great dexterity.
Specialists-My new favorites
Enforcers-When its too cold for the Specialists

I use both the OR alibi gloves, both are great. The alpine is way warm with good overall dexterity. The light alibi is super grippy, but not too warm. Good for pumpy leads. My middle of the road glove is the BD Punisher. Great glove, just right in most situations.

I have the BD punisher and the BD torque. Both are great. Customer service at BD is pretty helpful.

I was on BD's site. I'm surious if anyone has a comparison between the punisher, punisher pro, and the specialist.

Also looking at the MH Hydra.

I could ask BD customer service but I value the input of people on this forum more.

I can't remember the difference between the Punisher and the Punisher Pro. I think I've used both. Personally I feel like the Punisher has better dexterity then the Specialist (but maybe only by a very little). I think they are comparable as far as warmth. I like the Specialist because every time I take my hand out of the Punishers the fingers invert inside the glove. It then takes me upwards of five minutes to re-position the interior fingers and cram my damp hand back in. It got to be exceedingly annoying. YMMV but I use the Specialists now.

I recently bought BD Punisher Gloves. Really liked the dexterity but I was using them on a warmer day so it's hard to say how they'll do in lower temps.

My other gloves, Rab Latok, are "gauntlet" style and are great in frigid temps but obviously feel like oven mitts.

Best bet is to carry a couple pairs of gloves anyway.

I will always be carrying down mittens or BD guides as my warm glove. Looking for a middle ground glove to swap to during climbing when not belaying.

Anyone else had trouble with punisher fingers inverting when removing the glove?

Yeah, more specifically what I was referring to is the fleece inner glove on the punishers. They aren't stitched at the tips of the fingers, so the inside fleece part can pull out. Major negative.

I believe the main difference in the two punisher gloves is that the pro has Goretex, slightly different cuff if I recall, as well.
