I would like to ask for some help form the MP community.
I have a friend that is considering starting an outdoor gear repair business and would love to get some feed back form everyone. I would like to get your opinions on your experiences with some of the shops in the Denver metro area good or bad.
Also what you would like to see in a repair shop i.e. service while you wait delivery/pick-up of gear or any other ideas.
What kind of gear do people repair? As of now the focus is on soft gear but are people interested in repairing other gear.
Thanks in advance for your help we are looking to make it easier and more convenient to get gear fixed so we can all use it longer and save money.
A really good service is washing tech-treated outerwear. I'm a dumbass and could never figure out how to do it myself, but will gladly pay to revive the magic in all the expensive bullshit I buy. Also, washing and reviving down products is a good idea. Good luck, Denver is sorely lacking a good repair shop.
