I imagine this has already been covered somewhere, but I haven't found quite the quality of info I'm looking for so I'll just ask.
My friend and I are scheming about a Cascades trip in mid-May. Our sights are currently set on ski descents of Adams and Rainier. We are both competent skiers with pretty good all around skill sets. However, glacier travel and the Cascade range will be new to both of us.
Just looking for advice on route selection, will the season be amiable to climbing and skiing, or really anything that you think is worthwhile knowledge going into the trip.
