La Sportiva Clothing Review

I've been toying with the idea of publishing a little gear/clothing/equipment review blog of sorts on my website. Please see my thoughts on two of La Sportiva's latest articles of clothing the Adjuster softshell jacket and Pegasus insulated jackets.

Gear Review

My writing style isn't fully grammatically correct nor will the reviews be all inclusive, however, it should be fun to read and semi-informative. I welcome any feedback (on the forum here or via email ) on site layout, content, errors, etc. I will enjoy writing the reviews and hopefully you guys will glean some insight from my musings in conjunction with other great gear blogs already out there, namely Cold Thistle.

Anyway, stay tuned for future reviews: La Sportiva Batura 2.0 boots, Rab Xenon insulated jacket, and Rab's Andes 800 sleeping bag among others.

Cheers.

Thank you, Jason! I have been unable to find any feedback on the Sportiva Adjuster anywhere and your review of the softshell came just in time. I have been on the fence about picking this jacket up since I learned Sportiva was producing them and now with a pro-deal purchase opportunity, I have to make a decision. You addressed my major concerns, namely Euro vs. 'Merican sizing (can't always trust the measurements), fit with a harness and zipper useability. I found your writing style to be relaxed (compliment!) and to the point, which allowed for a casual, informative read.

I will be ordering my Adjuster shortly. I appreciate your efforts; keep up the good work!

Cheers,
Chris

Yours is about the only review of Sportiva clothing I can find, Jason. Can you give an update on the Pegasus? How did it hold up, particularly the DWR and face fabric?

I'm looking for a burly synthetic, and at the Pegasus' bigger brother the Latok, specifically, along with a couple others.

Thanks!
